Nose pierced!!

Hi all!

This is going to be a quick(isn) post. So on Wednesday (25th Sep) I decided to get my nose pierced, since I have a little birthday money leftover I used it all to get it done!

For two years I've wanted it done and finally I decided to get it done! My friends help convince me though, and having a piercing and tattoo near my college helped too.

I was quite nervous getting it done, since I saw my sisters friend that day who has a nose piercing and she told me it really hurt when she had it done; then she kept telling me all these things that definitely didn't help(haha). But I shouldn't have thought about it so much because..

On a scale from 1 to 10 (1 being no pain, 10 being worst pain ever!) I'd say it was a....1! Haha, yep! I didn't feel a thing, I completely forgot I had a high pain thresh hold. It literally felt like a push on my nose, no sharp scratch, nothing! It did feel a bit sore after, kinda like it was bruised, but it's fine now being 3 days later.

I was given a solution of Sodium Chloride (salty water) to spray on my nose 3 times a day, which I am doing, and that needs to be done for 6 weeks I think. I was also told not to touch or twist the piercing either.

I'll end off by saying if you want a nose piercing be sure you really want it before you get it done, there's no point wasting money on something you may or may not like. Take a on of those small sticker face-gems and put it on your nose, thats what I did to confirm I wanted it. Better to be safe than sorry! :D

In the future I'll post a blog on some tips and tricks when it comes to nose piercings. For now, I'm still learning myself!

I'll see if I can post pictures soon!

Later Beauties!

MAC Face & Body foundation Review

Hello there! :)

Mac Face & Body is actually the first high end foundation I have ever bought! I've never really been desperate to try a high end foundation either but on the 5th of September I turned 18 (woohoo!) so I decided to treat myself to Face&Body and Fix+ (I'll review that too if you want!).

The shade I use is N3, it's pretty much almost my perfect shade, I think N4 could be my perfect tan colour

Right, let's actually start with the review. This is a very light weight foundation, it literally doesn't even feel like I'm wearing foundation!

The foundation itself is like a tinted moisturiser, it has colour to it but don't expect it to complete cover up any spots you have! Saying that, this is a build-able foundation, you can get a nice medium coverage from it without looking cakey. I specifically bought this foundation for the light-medium coverage it gives.

It definitely needs a good shake before you use it. It comes out of the bottle quite watery but once it sets on the face it looks absolutely gorgeous!

When researching about this foundation myself before I bought it, I discovered a little technique that makes the product become more opaque quicker so you don't have to keep buffing for what feels like hours! (exaggeration hehe)
So what you do is put the product in your hand and rub it between your hands, sort of like warming up the product. When you put it on your face you'll feel that it's a bit stiff while buffing it in, don't worry that's just the foundation setting!

In the reviews I've read from makeup artists and ordinary bloggers, I noticed that people with different skin types have used this foundation and loved it! With the knowledge of makeup I have myself I'd say people with normal to dry skin and normal to combination/slightly oily skin will be able to use this. Those with combination/slightly oily skin may have to powder, I know I do. I'm not sure if people with very dry or very oily skin can use this. I may be wrong! I'm not a professional but this is just what I think after doing research and using it personally. If you do use this and have very oily/dry skin let me know!

All-in-all, I love this foundation and would definitely recommend it! I bought it for £21.50 for the 50ml, and it's worth it! A little bit goes a long way :)

I'll post a picture of me actually wearing the foundation in a couple of days.

Peace out Beauties!
